Detailed Info: to be responsible for managing relationships with consumers of the platform. This includes multiple regulatory programs of work such as the Volcker, IMM, and UMR programs, amongst others. They will work closely with consumers to understand their requirements, translate them into user stories that will go into the backlog for prioritization. They will be responsible for working with the engineering team to further analyze the requests and clarify any outstanding questions or issues related to the work. The candidate will be responsible for representing the group to the consumer, providing transparency on all requested work, any bugs found, and any changes to planned delivery dates. Finally the candidate will be responsible for leading budget related discussions with consumers to ensure that the work is appropriately funded.

Development/Computing Environment: At an individual level, the candidate is expected to have a strong financial background due to the fact that he/she will be responsible for interfacing with providers and consumers of financial trade data. The candidate should have at least a basic understanding of financial products such as equities, commodities, credit default swaps (CDS), or interest rate swaps (IRS). Additionally, the candidate should have a strong technical background. Often, analysis will require looking at code or raw data to understand how a process works or how the system behaves. As a result, it is important that the individual have a basic understanding of object oriented programming experience.


Strong communication skills are critical because the individual will need to work across multiple lines of business to gather and document new requirements for the proprietary software. Candidates will be expected to provide senior management with project updates on critical milestones, so they should feel comfortable communicating with people of varying levels of seniority throughout the organization. Additionally, working in a fast paced capital markets organization, the individual will need to pay close attention to detail to ensure that requirements correctly satisfy the needs of the business. It will be necessary to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
