Detailed Info: Role & Responsibilities

Candidate will work in the newly formed Artificial Intelligence team doing hands-on Research and Development for building NLP-based products in the financial domain. Products may span Deep/Shallow Question Answering, Search, ChatBots to enable various operation tasks, client assistance based on inferred client needs, Virtual Assistant to Financial Advisors etc. Hands-on work involves building components for concept/relation extraction, intent identification, text classification, meaning representation at different levels (word, sentence, paragraph), answer passage retrieval/ranking, dialog/discourse management and others required to deliver end-to-end systems for these products.


Development/Computing Environment: Primary Skills / Must have

-Experienced professional with at least 5 years hands-on experience in knowledge base creation and management to support NLP systems for Question Answering, Dialogue Systems, Conversational Engines etc

-Experience developing and maintaining Knowledge Graphs, Ontologies, Taxonomies or other knowledge bases OR working with public domain Ontologies (for example, SNOMED CT in Healthcare) in an environment with rapidly evolving content.

-Experience using OWL or other Ontology languages and tools such as Protege.

-Experience creating or utilizing data-driven methods to identify structure in unstructured content.

-Experience in Financial Domain Knowledge Base development is a huge plus.

Secondary Skills / Desired skills

-Experience with semi-automated knowledge source creation (for example, semi-automatic creation of Ontologies)

-NLP component/pipeline development.

-UIMA experience.*LI-AG1
