Detailed Info: CLO technology team is engaged in building Bank proprietary application used by CLO trading, structuring, credit asset financing businesses and risk management of loans & loan related credit derivatives products such as CLO, Trups, CDS, etc. The CLO technology team is part of Global Mortgage and Structured Product group (GMSP) in FICC technology.


The responsibilities of this role include complete end to end technology support to CLO new issuance (CLO NI) business, participate in discussion with business, and understand their quantitative and technology problems, ensuring quality of deliveries, etc.


He/she will be responsible for supporting modern agile software development The individual is expected to be able to interface with senior customers ie. Managing Directors, Directors in the business, Risk Management functions as well as the technology. He/she should be able to interact with other tech partners in London and India & drive projects with them.


Development/Computing Environment:

Potential Qualifications:

2-5 years of hands of programming experience, primarily in front office technology.

Strong background in fixed income structured products. (Experience in CDO/CLO business is advantageous.)

Essential technologies - VBA, C#.Net, SQL, Python.

Knowledge of Intex products IntexCalc, Intex Desktop, Moody's cDOEdge is plus.

Bachelor degree, preferably advance degree in computer science.

Certifications like CFA, FRM are good to have, not mandatory.

Really strong communication skill is needed for this role.


Role:

Work closely with BofA's CLO new issuance business daily. (100% of time)

Understand the complex structured products like CLO/trups and their structural complexities, Analytics etc. (50% of time)

Support existing applications - Merlot (In-house Structuring tool in VBA), Binomial Expansion Matrix (In house Moody's Rating Analysis and reporting tool in C#, Grid computing, Excel), LoanFolio (loan portfolio analysis tool in VBA, SQL, C#.Net)

(100 % of time)

improve processes & workflow, build new workflows & application, improve efficiencies, write complex SQL queries (20 % of time)

CLO NI deal modelling - read deal documents, convert waterfall rules into deal models (Intex, Moody's, Merlot etc), Work with desk, vendors (Intex, Moody's, SnP on tech/data problems)
